Rumour: BioWare is developing a remake of the RPG Dragon Age: Origins

The 4chan forum often publishes information that is later unconfirmed, and sometimes these are purposeful fakes.

But still, despite the dubious reputation of the forum, there sometimes appears reliable information.

This time there is a news about the cult RPG Dragon Age: Origins, but we should treat it with great caution.

Here's What We Know

One of the 4chan users reported that in addition to the new Mass Effect and Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, the Canadian studio BioWare is working on another project on Dragon Age, which is a remake of the first part of the famous role-playing game.

It is claimed that the updated game will be subtitled Reorigins, in which the developers will significantly improve and modernise the gameplay and technical execution, but will leave the plot and narrative of Dragon Age: Origins intact.

It is mentioned that the project is in the early stages of development.

Considering the difficulties BioWare is experiencing in the development of Mass Effect and Dragon Age sequels, it's hard to imagine that the developers will take on a third project, especially for such a large-scale one. Besides, Dragon Age: Origins can't be said to be badly outdated and in need of a remake, so it's most likely that this information will remain in the "unconfirmed 4chan rumours" category as well.
