Nintendo Switch 2 will be presented in 2025

Nintendo has announced the postponement of the Nintendo Switch 2 release to the first quarter of 2025. Previously, the model was scheduled for release in autumn 2024. This decision has made changes to the plans, but is of strategic importance for the preparation of the console and games for release. The additional time will allow developers to better optimise the product for consumers.

One of the key reasons for this abrupt change may be the desire to give development teams enough time to complete and improve the games that will be available for the new console.

Nintendo may also be doing this to synchronise the release of Nintendo Switch 2 with the launch of key games, such as Metroid Prime 4. Such a move could increase consumer interest and boost sales of the new console.
