Overwatch 2 players can merge accounts to transfer old gear

There's not much left before the launch of Overwatch 2, which will be held on the fourth of October, so the developers decided to tell us about the benefits of the new progress system in the game.

If you play Overwatch on multiple platforms at once, you now have the ability to merge accounts to share all the cosmetic items you've received in the game, as well as summarize your progress for a future system that will be similar to a battle pass. In order to do this, you'll need to follow these instructions.

Of course not without limitations: if you have multiple accounts on the same console, you can only merge one account, so make sure you choose the right one. According to the FAQ, you'll be able to disconnect your console account from your battle.net account, but you can't add a new console account for an entire year.
