It's official: Ubisoft's plans for the future of the Assassin's Creed franchise

The presentation of Ubisoft Forward was a real treat for Assassin's Creed fans. The French company, besides the presentation of the new Assassin's Creed Mirage, the mobile game Assassin's Creed Jade about ancient China and the final add-on The Last Chapter for Valhalla, told about the future plans for the series.

Finally, the development of a large-scale game about feudal Japan was officially confirmed. Presented teaser did not disclose the details of the game and so far it has only the working title Codename Red, but fans of the game can not but rejoice the very fact of working on it.

The second announcement was Codename Hexe. It will be the darkest game about the darkest times in Europe in the era of witch hunts. There is no exact date of the game's release.

The developers explained that both games will be a part of the ambitious Infinity platform, about which they will tell a little later.

Ubisoft also announced a close collaboration with Netflix, which is planned to create several mobile games, a series with live actors and a number of other projects.

As part of the show Ubisoft Forward presented a documentary Beyond the Creed, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Assassin's Creed series. It is already available on the official Ubisoft channel.
