Convenient, safe and modern: an updated version of the Steam mobile app for Android and iOS has been released

Valve has released an updated version of the Steam mobile app with many improvements and innovations. The app is already available for download through the App Store and Google Play, or as a standalone APK file.

Features of the App:

• Two-factor authentication ensures that only you have access to your account.
• Scan the QR code to sign in to your Steam account without entering your password, or...
• Confirm account login the normal way by simply clicking "Approve" or "Reject".
• Authorized devices: Control access to the devices you are signed in to your account.
• Easily access the store, community, news, and other areas of Steam wherever you are.
• Library with access to your game content, discussions, guides, support and more.
• Remote downloads of games and updates to your computer, managed directly from your phone.
• Customizable Steam notifications: wishlist, discounts, comments, swaps, discussions, friend invitations and more.
• Confirm exchanges and transactions on the Marketplace so items leave your account only with your approval.
• Improved store interface for mobile device screens.
• Ability to connect multiple Steam accounts to the app.
• Customizable tabs.

Steam Chat application was also upgraded, now it will be even more convenient to communicate through it.

Update for Android will be released on October 13, and for iOS a little later.
