FromSoftware studio reported, that the servers of PC-version of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin after a long period of shutdown, finally, were restored.
Japanese developers promise to launch the standard version of Dark Souls II servers.
Online features for the PC version of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (DX11) have been reactivated.

Additionally, FromSoftware has announced that the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition servers will not be restored due to the game's network code being rendered obsolete.
We have determined that we will not be able to support online services for the PC version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition that was released in 2012, due to an aging system.

We apologize for the long wait and ask for your understanding in this matter.
But the online components of Dark Souls Remastered PC version will be recovered. When it will happen is still unknown, gamers will be informed.
Dark Souls 3 servers started working in August, but after a month they were turned off again. When will they be restored is also unknown.
Recall, the Dark Souls' server shutdown happened in January 2022, because of the found exploit, which allows intruders to access the gamers' computers.
