The head of Lionsgate hinted that his company has plans to develop a high-end game based on the John Wick franchise

The John Wick franchise is very popular with fans of spectacular action movies.

Three films have already been released, a fourth one will be released in 2023, a TV series is being filmed, and comic books have been published.

But John Wick has not had much luck with video games. There were two attempts to bring the adventures of a retired assassin to the screens of gaming platforms, without success. They gathered a certain audience, but got lost among the more interesting projects.

Here's What We Know

Lionsgate media holding company CEO John Feltheimer said in a conversation with investors that the company is considering a big-budget AAA game. The CEO said that he was reviewing proposals from potential developers, but a final decision had not yet been made.

Note that John Wick - a really interesting franchise, and with the competent and high-quality execution would look great in the format of a video game, such as a third-person shooter.
