The PC version of Forspoken has become another problem for Square Enix
Square Enix's Forspoken was released this week and has been received with mixed reviews by PC players. The main reason for this is related to the system requirements, which are quite modest at the entry level and very generous at the last level. Many players complain that with such strange system requirements, the game looks bad and often has a drop in fps or other unpleasant artefacts.
One of the players left a review in which he noted that the game makes even the RTX 4090 work hard, and the visuals look much worse than what we were shown in the trailers. "Unoptimised back end" was his verdict.
Of course, given these problems, the game could not get good ratings - 2.5/10 on Metacritic and 55% of negative reviews on Steam. We hope that the developers will be able to quickly fix the situation, but perhaps it was necessary to postpone the game's release to bring it back to normal?
