Dead Space creator Glen Schofield was pleased with the remake of his game and thanked EA Motive for their careful handling of the horror update
Glen Schofield is the creator of cult horror game Dead Space 2008.
It was under his leadership that Visceral Games created one of the scariest and creepiest games, which became a favourite with millions of gamers for many years and still remains relevant today.
The recently released remake breathed new life into Dead Space, but Glen Scofield has nothing to do with it anymore. He left Electronic Arts long ago, and Visceral Games ceased to exist in 2017.
Gamers and critics were extremely pleased with EA Motive's remake, but everyone was curious about the reaction of the 'father' of the horror game. And so Glen Schofield gave his opinion: he thanked everyone who worked on the original game and the remake, and added that the new developers perfectly conveyed the atmosphere of Dead Space, laid by him. He praised the careful approach to recreating his game and the accuracy in conveying all the nuances of the horror.
