The Crew is hugely popular. Ubisoft's racing franchise has attracted 40 million gamers
Shortly after the announcement of the new installment of the racing game The Crew, subtitled Motorfest, franchise creative director Stephane Beley tweeted that the audience for The Crew franchise has reached 40 million people.
This number does not refer to the number of copies sold, but the number of players who have gained access to The Crew through game purchases, subscriptions or free giveaways.
The first part of The Crew was released in 2014 and The Crew MotorFest, which will be released this year, will be the third game in the franchise.
Stefan Belej thanks gamers for their interest and hopes that the next game will only increase the number of its fans.
15 years ago a group of friends dreamed of creating their own driving game. Ubisoft trusted them. Ivory gave birth to #TheCrew. 15 years later 40 million players have joined the adventure. Soon it will continue with The Crew MotorFest.Always believe in your dreams! Thank you all pic.twitter.com/zuArbN7nmN
