The remake of Silent Hill 2 is almost ready for release. Developers expect sales of the game to reach 10 million copies
The CEO of Bloober Team studio Piotr Babieno gave a great interview to Bankier portal, where he shared his thoughts on the future of his company and short-term plans.
Previously we have already reported on the ambitious plans of the Polish horror developers, and now we need to pay attention to other information.
Here's What We Know
According to Piotr Babeno, the development of the Silent Hill 2 remake is almost finished. He has not yet revealed the exact release date, as it largely depends on Bloober Team's Japanese partners from Konami.
The remake is expected to surpass the previous Silent Hill 2 titles and sell more than 10 million copies, whereas Bloober Team's horror games have rarely sold more than 2 million copies.
It's not quite clear why the Poles are so optimistic about the Silent Hill franchise in general which is not a very popular one, but if the game is of such a high quality that it should excite the audience - Babeno's prediction could come true.
The Silent Hill 2 remake will only be available on PC and PlayStation 5.
