Insider: Ubisoft Toronto and Ubisoft Montréal studios are already working on new installments of Far Cry
New games in the Far Cry series are always attracting a lot of interest from the public, and it's clear that Ubisoft will continue to develop the franchise.
Here's What We Know
While the developers themselves are keeping silent about their plans, two insiders are rushing to share the information, but their information is radically different.
So, recently ScriptLeaksR6 data-miner reported that the development of the new Far Cry part hasn't started.
But authoritative journalist Tom Henderson is sure that two new Far Cry games (single player and multiplayer) are already in development. Moreover, according to his information, both Toronto and Montreal offices of Ubisoft are already working on them.
He came to this conclusion after analysing Ubisoft Toronto and Ubisoft Montréal vacancies.
Henderson mentions that Ubisoft Toronto employees held a meeting to discuss not only the Splinter Cell remake, which they are officially working on, but also the future Far Cry series, although the studio had nothing to do with it previously.
