Path of Exile: Crucible has set a new attendance record with over 320,000 simultaneous players in the isometric action-RPG
Despite its advanced age, the isometric action-RPG Path of Exile is hugely popular with gamers.
Last week Grinding Gear Games released the Crucible update, which added so much new content that the game has broken its popularity record!
Here's What We Know
According to the official Path of Exile Twitter account, there were 321,000 people in the game at one time, with 211,637 of them playing through SteamDB.
Path of Exile: Crucible hit a new record of 321,180 concurrent players, beating our previous record by over 50,000 concurrent players.

The game's conditionally free-to-play status continues to evolve, and more and more players are starting to get involved. Path of Exile 2 is about to be released, and with even more mechanics and creative ideas on the horizon, we can expect the new game to achieve even more popularity and be a serious competitor for Diablo IV.
