Xbox head of marketing Aaron Greenberg has denied that Hi-Fi RUSH is a commercial failure. He claims that Microsoft is happy with the performance of Tango Gameworks
No sooner had the gaming community discussed Jeff Grubb's claim that rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush is a commercial failure than a rebuttal has arrived.
Here's What We Know
Grubb's response was given in person by Aaron Greenberg, vice president of marketing for Microsoft's gaming division.
He stated that Hi-Fi Rush has been a success in all the key parameters of the game. Microsoft is pleased not only with the performance of Hi-Fi Rush, but also with the work of Tango Gameworks and the Xbox division as a whole.
Hi-Fi RUSH was a break out hit for us and our players in all key measurements and expectations. We couldn't be happier with what the team at Tango Gameworks delivered with this surprise release.

For his part, Grubb tweeted that his words were a bit rash. He either apologised or tried to change the subject, but stands by the fact that "the game did not produce the desired income".
