Rumour: The developers of the horror game The Callisto Protocol have started work on a game based on the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise
According to Reddit user nicknamed BoringWithoutLeaks, the writers of horror game The Callisto Protocol from Striking Distance studio, led by Glen Schofield, are allegedly working on a game based on the Marvel franchise Guardians of the Galaxy.
The insider has not provided proof of his information, but claims that it will only be a story game about one of the Guardians of the Galaxy members, although the other characters may appear as episodic characters.
BoringWithoutLeaks believes that the new game from Striking Distance will not be related to Square Enix's game of the same franchise (2021), but will provide its own interpretation of the events of the Marvel universe.
Even if this information is true, the project is in the very early stages of production, as the developers are not yet done with supporting The Callisto Protocol, and Glen Schofield's team is not big enough to handle two projects at once.
