Sony unveils PlayStation Earbuds - the first designed specifically for PlayStation

During the PlayStation Showcase, Sony demonstrated the first pair of wireless earbuds from the PlayStation brand - they are designed for PlayStation 5, PC and the new Project Q portable device:

Take a sneak peek at the new accessories revealed at today's Showcase - the Project Q device for playing games installed on your PS5 and streamed over WiFi, plus our first official wireless earbuds offering lossless audio on PS5 and PC.

The earbuds use a unique technology developed by Sony itself that will provide lossless, low-latency sound transmission. The company hasn't revealed many details about these headphones yet, but promises to share information in the coming months.

While Sony already has a wide range of highly regarded wireless earbuds, such as the Sony WF-1000XM4, simple Bluetooth support is not enough to use them directly with the PS5 for gaming, so this device would definitely fit in nicely with the PlayStation accessory collection.
