Konami has announced on the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 Steam page that the game will not support keyboard and mouse

At the PlayStation Showcase in May, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1, a collection of remasters of old MGS titles, was announced. Yesterday, Konami released a trailer for the collection, where it became known that the release will take place on 24 October. The game will also be released on PC, but there is one caveat.

Here's What We Know

Konami created a page for the game on Steam and then deleted it, but there was an interesting detail: "Please note: The game requires a controller. The game does not support keyboard and mouse".

Perhaps Konami will fix this situation and add keyboard support. If not, players will have to buy a gamepad or wait for a mod to appear.

Flashback

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 will include the following remasters: Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The collection will also include a variety of additional content.

When We Can Expect It

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 will be released on October 24 on PC, Xbox Series, Switch, and PlayStation 5.
