Bethesda and AMD have announced a partnership to optimise Starfield.

Here's What We Know

AMD specialists will apply their expertise and technology to improve Starfield's space RPG experience. First of all it concerns PC version which will feature FSR 2 image scaling technology, that will also boost the game's performance.

AMD will also optimize Starfield performance on computers with Radeon 7000 series graphics cards and Ryzen 7000 series processors.

Since the Xbox Series features AMD hardware, the company's engineers will also improve the console version of the RPG.

This partnership indicates that Starfield will likely not feature support for NVIDIA technologies like DLSS.

When We Can Expect It

Starfield will be released on September 6 on Xbox Series and PC. The game will immediately appear in the Game Pass catalogue.
