HBO Max wants to make a TV series based on the popular game Hogwarts Legacy, which made $850m in a fortnight

With the enormous popularity of Hogwarts Legacy, it was only a matter of time before information about a film adaptation based on the game emerged.

Here's What We Know

Last year there was talk that Warner Bros. Discovery could drop the franchise due to the not-so-great results of the feature film Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. However, it has now been reported that HBO Max may be making a TV series based on the new game.

No information about the new series is available yet. Although Giant Freakin Robot is reporting that Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, wouldn't mind taking part in a project focusing on the world of Harry Potter.

As for the game itself, it continues to be popular and in a fortnight it has brought WB Games $850 million, with 267 million hours played in Hogwarts Legacy. And the game is not yet available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
