Magic beyond Hogwarts - David Yates hints at a new Harry Potter film!
Although the development of a new Harry Potter film has not been confirmed, and its spin-off Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore was only released last year, director David Yates expressed his willingness to return to the wizarding universe during his recent appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Here's What We Know
Over the past few decades, the story of "the boy who survived" has become a phenomenon that has spanned both the pages of books and the big screen. A host of creative individuals have contributed to bringing the story to film. Among them is director David Yates, who has helmed the production of several films in this franchise, including all parts of the Fantastic Beasts spin-off. And the director doesn't seem to mind returning to the world of magic again.
"We haven't had a conversation since we finished it. It's been about 'let's just park it and be done for a while." said Yates about directing another Harry Potter film. "Never say never, I would say." the director added a hopeful phrase.
Perhaps Yates' enthusiasm comes on the back of the Harry Potter franchise's transformation into a television series.

Earlier this year, executives at Warner Bros. Discovery announced plans to reboot the saga as a TV series that would span the entire series of books by J.K. Rowling and ideally seven seasons of film.
Rowling will be partially involved with the new series to ensure it is consistent with the original material.
Will Daniel Radcliffe return in the Harry Potter reboot?
The actor himself doesn't think so, judging by his words in an interview with ComicBook earlier:
"My understanding is that they're trying to very much start fresh and I'm sure whoever is making them will want to make their own mark on it and probably not want to have to figure out how to get old Harry to cameo in this somewhere. So I'm definitely not seeking it out in any way. But I do wish them, obviously, all the luck in the world and I'm very excited to have that torch passed. But I don't think it needs me to physically pass it.".
No other information about the Harry Potter series has been revealed due to ongoing strikes among writers and actors.
