According to Variety, stunning details have emerged today about Jason Momoa's attempts to get Amber Heard fired from the sequel to the DC comic book movie universe.

Here's What We Know

According to the report, on the same day that the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom trailer was released, some Reddit users paid to access materials from Johnny Depp and Heard's defamation lawsuit and then published them online. Among those documents are descriptions allegedly compiled by Heard's therapist on paper, recounting that Momoa appeared on the set drunk, disguised as Depp, in an attempt to get rid of Heard.

Heard's therapist's notes on the paperwork say:

"Jason said he wanted me fired. Jason drunk — late on set. Dressing like Johnny. Has all the rings too."

A DC spokesperson has spoken out against the actor's allegations. He denies the allegations of Momoa's nefarious behaviour, saying that "Jason Momoa conducted himself in a professional manner at all times on the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.". However, other sources claim that Momoa did not dress up as Depp, but "has always dressed in that bohemian style".

It is noted that Heard was indeed almost fired from her role as Mera after the release of "Aquaman" in 2018, but not because of public scandals with Depp or Momoa. The reason was reportedly the lack of chemistry between Heard and Momoa, which coincides with the testimony of Heard's agent during the defamation lawsuit.

Also, it is reported that Heard was not fired thanks to Elon Musk stepping in. The portal claims that Heard's ex-boyfriend sent a lawyer to threaten Warner Bros. which forced the studio to bring Heard back for "Lost Kingdom."

In addition to Momoa, Heard was unhappy with the behaviour of director James Wan. According to her claims, the director isolated her on set because of a legal battle with Depp.

"He raised his voice @ me — ‘I can’t even post about Aquaman’ — made it like it was my fault – I said ‘I’m sorry.' Nobody could take selfies with me on set given blackout."

However, the same DC representative said: "James is known for treating members of his cast and crew with the utmost respect and for fostering a positive, collaborative environment on set — the ‘Aquaman’ films were no exception."

As a reminder, "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" will be released at the box office as early as 20 December. There is every reason to believe that it will repeat the success of the first part and overcome the bar of a billion dollars.
