'Avatar 3' producer Jon Landau denies rumours about the title of the third part - it won't be called 'The Seed Bearer'
Once James Cameron, the director of the film, gave out the information that the third part of "Avatar" will be called "The Seed Bearer". And it did not please the fans much. But, there is no sense to worry, because the producer of the film, Jon Landau, assures that the title will definitely be different.
Here's What We Know
Cameron talked about possible titles back in 2019, with ET Publishing. Back then, the title "Avatar: The Way of Water" was also on the list, which was ultimately used for the second part of the film. "Not surprisingly, the option for 'The Seed Bearer' was taken seriously."
"I can neither confirm nor deny" - Cameron said at the time. - "All right, here's what I'll tell ya. Those titles are among titles that are in consideration. And no final decisions have been made yet."
"Although, an official title for 'Avatar 3' has yet to be chosen or announced, Landau has definitely confirmed that the 'The Seed Bearer' option is being dropped."
"I'm qualified to tell you that that is not the title for Avatar 3" - said Landau at an event in support of the "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora" video game.
Here's What The Movie Is About
Little is known about the plot of the third Avatar film, except that there will be a new clan of Navi living in a volcanic location on Pandora.
When We Can Expect It
Avatar 3 is scheduled for release on 19 December 2025.
