Steven Spielberg and Simon Kinberg, producer of Deadpool and X-Men, are joining forces on the new thriller Long Lost
"Long Lost" promises to be something truly great, as Steven Spielberg and "Dark Phoenix" director Simon Kinberg, also known as the writer and director of many popular projects including "X-Men: First Class," "The Martian," "Deadpool," "Star Wars: Rebels," "Logan" and many others have signed on to produce it.
Here's What We Know
"Long Lost" is a short story that Universal Studios has reportedly acquired the rights to.
Spielberg has already joined the project as a producer through his company Amblin. The film is also being produced by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon of Genre Pictures, and Scott Glassgold of Ground Control Entertainment.
The screenplay is being written by Colin Bannon. But, it is currently unknown who will direct the project.
Here's What The Movie Is About
The official description of the film is as follows: "In the vein of What Lies Beneath and Rosemary's Baby, Long Lost tells the story of a recently married woman whose life is upended when her husband's long-lost wife shockingly returns after she was believed to be dead, sparking fears that she's hatching a sinister plan to reclaim what was once hers."
The release date of the film is still unknown.
