The script for the Season 2 of "Peacemaker" is done

Series creator James Gunn recently confirmed on Threads that he has finished writing the eighth and final episode of Peacemaker's Season 2.

With Gunn always eager to share updates on his projects with fans, we already know we're one step closer to seeing "Peacemaker" starring John Cena.

As is tradition, the co-founder of DC Studios, broke the news on social media:

"Details about the second season of 'Peacemaker' are being kept under wraps for now.

However, we do know that the second season of the series will be part of the new DCU universe, unlike the first season, which was still part of the previous version of DC and fell under the "reset". This means that the world and plot of the second season of "Peacemaker" may be different from what we saw in the first season to better fit the new DC universe concept. But as Gunn stated on Threads, this implementation of DCU canon shouldn't confuse fans.

The second season of "Peacemaker" has not yet been given a release date.
