Microsoft adds Copilot to OneNote
Microsoft has announced plans to add Copilot to OneNote. Last month, the company announced it for Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and now it has decided to expand the scope of its application.
Here's What We Know
"As your notetaking partner, Copilot uses your prompts to draft plans, generate ideas, create lists, organize information, and more" - explains Greg Mace, a product manager for OneNote.
Users can now easily rewrite, format and summarise OneNote text using the sidebar prompts. With the help of this assistant, you can also create an event plan or create topics and themes for meetings.
Although Microsoft hasn't integrated Copilot into OneNote yet, Word users can already use the assistant. It helps you automatically suggest rewritten text when you highlight paragraphs and hover over part of the paragraph.
currently playing around with Microsoft's AI Copilot for Word, thanks to @XenoPanther. It's only supposed to be available in "private preview" for "select Microsoft 365 enterprise customers," but a few registry keys here and there and you can get the basics working ???? pic.twitter.com/TSO1KgnqwH
