The PlayTracker portal reported that more than 2 million owners of the premium edition have played Starfield, although the full release took place only on 6 September
PlayTracker, a portal that analyses various video game data, has published information that makes it clear how many gamers have played Starfield before the full release.
Here's What We Know
We would like to remind you that the owners of the premium edition got access to the game on 1 September, and the official release took place on 6 September.
More than 2 million players have played Starfield on PC (via Steam) and Xbox. Interestingly, none of the platforms managed to gain a significant advantage, as both PC and Xbox Series managed to collect a million players.
Based on our user sampling data so far, PlayTracker estimates #Starfield has far surpassed the 1M player milestone on both Steam and XBOX with just the Premium Edition buyers.

The game costs $70 on Steam. Starfiled is also available in the Game Pass service, so the owners of the subscription can play the game for free (on PC and Xbox).
