Bloomberg: Star Wars Jedi series game director Stig Asmussen to leave Respawn Entertainment studio

Star Wars Jedi series game director Stig Asmussen is leaving Respawn Entertainment.

Here's What We Know

According to Bloomberg, the experienced developer has decided to quit the company and "try new adventures".

Stig Asmussen has not yet revealed where his road of adventure will lead him, probably he received an invitation to another studio or decided to start his own company, or perhaps the game designer wants to take a break from work.

Stig Asmussen started his career at Respawn in 2014 and led the development of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Prior to that, he was the game director of God of War 3.

Who will take Stig Asmussen's place in the development of the third instalment of Star Wars Jedi is unknown. The game hasn't been announced yet, but rumours suggest the series won't end with a 2023 game.
