Is it the right decision? The developers of Need for Speed racing games from Criterion Games studio will develop new shooters for the Battlefield franchise

EA Entertainment head Vince Zampella has revealed news about the future of the Battlefield franchise.

Here's What We Know

Criterion Games, the studio that specialises in creating racing games, in particular the Need for Speed series, including the latest installment with the subtitle Unbound, is moving from EA Sports to EA Entertainment, and will join the work on the new shooter franchise Battlefield.

It should be noted that Criterion has previously had experience working on Battlefield, but the projects it worked on received low marks and failed to gain public recognition. The most notable example is Battlefield 2042.

Vince Zampella has hinted that Criterion will continue to work on Need for Speed, but no specific information is available yet.

We hope that this castling will not lead to Battlefield not getting better and Need for Speed finally losing its quality.
