It's only getting worse by the day: the Payday 3 developers have delayed the patch release again, prompting outrage from gamers
We wrote that not even a month has passed since the release of Payday 3, and the game's peak online doesn't reach 10 thousand players. Gamers actively moved on to Payday 2, which is now on the 19th place in the list of the most popular games on Steam. But it seemed that there were still chances to rehabilitate, the developers were preparing for the patch release, but it was postponed again.
Here's What We Know
At first the patch was supposed to be released on the 5th of October and fix more than 200 bugs. Then its release was postponed to mid-October, and now its appearance has been postponed again. The developers have apologised and explained that they need extra time to fix it as the patch is a priority for the team.
Heisters, we regret the lack of communication regarding the first patch. We have identified some issues that need to be fixed before we can deliver it to you, but rest assured that this is a top priority for our team. https://t.co/IBDPctk0ce

However, most gamers didn't like this response. Some reminded that the game lost almost 90% of its players and it might have been better to release it later. Others said that by their actions they are killing the game and there is no desire to get into it anymore. Although there remain those who are waiting for better times and support the authors.
So far Starbreeze Studios has failed to improve the situation, and now it's hard to say what fate awaits Payday 3 in the future.
Where To Play
PayDay 3 is available on PC, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5. It's also available on the GamePass service. The game now has 67 points from critics and 3 points from players on Metacritic.
