A lengthy video of The Thaumaturge shows off the main aspects of the Polish role-playing game

Publisher 11 Bit and studio Fool's Theory presented a detailed gameplay video of The Thaumaturge RPG.

Here's What We Know

In the video, which is over one hour long, Polish developers showed the prologue of The Thaumaturge.

The main character Wiktor Szulski in search of Grigory Rasputin (a real historical character, charlatan and mystic, close to the royal family of the Russian Empire) finds himself in the village and immediately gets into trouble. He gets into a fight with the village men, but Victor is helped by his supernatural abilities.

The fight scene showcases The Thaumaturge's turn-based combat system, which, it should be noted, is reminiscent of the Persona series. The video also shows well choreographed cut-scenes with well interesting dialogues.

Recall, the game is set in an alternative Warsaw in 1905, and players will have to fight with otherworldly forces, as the protagonist has magical powers and is a thaumaturge.

When We Can Expect It

The Thaumaturge will be released on 20 February 2024 on PC, and the game will later be released on PS5 and Xbox Series as well.
