The number of copies of Baldur's Gate III sold on all platforms for all time has reached more than 10 million

What we do know is that Baldur's Gate III has been a huge success for Larian Studios, and while no specific numbers have been disclosed, Michael Douse, editor at the publisher, said that the game has attracted "well over" 10 million players in a "short period of time".

Douse discussed this in a conversation about community moderation and communication, especially in light of the issues with mods. Despite the fact that official mod support for Baldur's Gate 3 continues, there are issues with patches and hotfixes that create problems for mod authors. Cromwell urged fans not to take their frustrations out on the mod authors, support teams, community, or developers.
