Toys for Bob, the studio behind the excellent Crash Bandicoot and Spyro remakes, has split from Activision to become independent

Thus, it recently became known that Remedy Entertainment became the sole owner of the rights to the Control franchise of the rights to the Control franchise, having bought them from the 505 Games publishing house.

American studio Toys for Bob - the creator of the excellent Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy remakes - has announced that it has become an independent company again.

Toys for Bob had been part of Activision since 2005 and the co-operation was mutually beneficial. However, after the release of the highly acclaimed Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, Activision fired most of the studio's employees and no longer assigned it its own projects, but instead required Toys for Bob to support Call of Duty: Warzone.

The studio was not satisfied with such an assignment and the management of Toys for Bob decided to split from Activision and work as an independent company.

Toys for Bob does not exclude further co-operation with Activision and Microsoft, but as an equal partner. The studio has already started working on its own project, which has long dreamed of.
