The YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits, which specialises in analysing graphics in games, has released a video comparing the visuals in Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Here are the most important graphical changes in the sequel that the author of the video noticed.
Here's What We Know
- The image range has increased significantly. Now the areas we can see are more detailed and clear.
- There are more people and cars on the streets.
- You can interact with trees. If you fall near them or fly over them, they will move.
- Reflection from the surface of water, glass and other objects has become better.
- The game has become more "dark" at night.
- Now there are more weather levels during the day. In the first part, there were only 3 of them.
- The authors worked hard on the general lighting.
- Character models and facial animations have reached a new level.
In general, as expected, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will look much better than the first part thanks to the PlayStation 5 technology. We have already seen a similar situation in God of War Ragnarok, which was graphically superior to God of War 2018, which was released on PS4.
When We Can Expect It
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for release on October 20 on PlayStation 5.
