Sony has launched an investigation into the hackers from the Ransomed.vc group breaking into its servers, but is not ready to comment on the situation

Yesterday, hackers from the group Ransomed.vc said that they managed to hack Sony's servers and in their possession there was a huge amount of confidential information that concerns all aspects of the Japanese corporation's business.

Here's What We Know

The attackers offered Sony to buy back their own data, but the company refused to negotiate with cybercriminals.

IGN editorial staff contacted Sony representatives with a request to comment on the situation, to which they received a reply: "We are currently investigating the situation and at the moment we have no further comments."

Recall that if by 28 September there are no willing buyers of Sony's data array from hackers from Ransomed.vc, the criminals promised to put the information in free access.

We continue to monitor the situations.
