The most downloaded games on PlayStation 4/5 in October: Marvel's Spider-Man 2, EA SPORTS FC 24 and Assassin's Creed Mirage are the leaders

Sony has shared statistics on the games that players have downloaded the most on PlayStation 4/5 in the US, Canada, and Europe.

Here's What We Know

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 became the leader on PlayStation 5, which is quite expected. The Insomniac Games superhero game also became the fastest-selling title at PlayStation Studios. Assassin's Creed Mirage on PS5 also showed a good result. In Canada and the US, the game is in second place, and in Europe it is in third place. EA SPORTS FC 24, Madden NFL 24, and Grand Theft Auto V are also in the top five. In Europe, Alan Wake 2 rounds out the top five, although the game was released on 27 October. In the United States and Canada, the survival horror is only in eleventh place.

The situation is slightly different on PlayStation 4. In Europe, EA SPORTS FC 24 is in the first place. Minecraft took the second place everywhere. And Red Dead Redemption 2 was downloaded the most in Canada and the United States, although in Europe the game is not far behind and ranks third. Assassin's Creed Mirage was also popular on the last generation console, as the game is ranked fourth in Europe and fifth in the US and Canada.
