Expanded story and new camera mode: developers of Until Dawn re-release told about innovations of the horror game
At the State of Play show, Sony announced an updated version of Until Dawn, a horror game that has been a PS4 exclusive since 2015.
Except for the fact that the game will be available on PC, gamers didn't quite understand why Until Dawn needed to be re-released, as it hasn't become obsolete since its release, neither technically nor morally.
The developers published the answer to this question on PlayStation.Blog.
Here's What We Know
The update of the horror game is handled by Ballistic Moon studio. Game designers explained that the new version of Until Dawn includes many innovations, including an expanded story, a third-person camera view, additional collectibles, improved graphics and an enhanced soundtrack with tunes by Mark Korven.
Thanks to the increased technical capabilities and the game's translation to Unreal Engine 5, the already cinematic horror game will be even more atmospheric and realistic.
When We Can Expect It
Until Dawn will be released in 2024 on PS5 and PC.
