Not just Indiana Jones: Starfield looks to be coming to PlayStation 5 after the release of the first DLC as well
As we wrote earlier, rumours are circulating online that Microsoft is planning to adapt a multi-platform approach to the release of its games, thereby expanding their audience beyond its ecosystem. It is noteworthy that even the company's flagship games may soon be available on competing platforms.
Here's What We Know
According to XboxEra, Starfield by Bethesda Game Studios, which was released on Xbox Series and Windows last September, is now scheduled for release on PlayStation 5. It will appear on Sony's console along with the release of the first expansion pack, Shattered Space, which is due this year. This information was confirmed by a well-known insider NateTheHate:
This report is accurate -- Starfield will land on PlayStation.

I've heard similar but opted to wait on reporting this information until the PS5 release timeline was finalised.
As the report states, the PS5 release will come after the arrival of the expansion DLC on Xbox/PC. https://t.co/xV8qTZegIA
While there is some disagreement within Xbox's leadership about this strategic shift, the prevailing argument is that the potential financial benefits of bringing first-person games to competing platforms outweigh any reservations.
