Switchbot lock pro review
Hey everyone! I've been testing out the Switchbot Lock Pro for a while now, and I thought I'd share my thoughts. You can find more details in the complete review of the Switchbot Lock Pro.
Here's the lowdown:
Pros:
- Super easy to install, fits most standard locks
- Works with your existing key, so no worries about getting locked out
- App control is convenient, but not essential
- Quick Key button for easy locking/unlocking from inside
- Flexible access options with Keypad Touch accessory (fingerprint, codes, etc.)
- Can integrate with smart home systems via Switchbot Hub Mini
Cons:
- Needs batteries (but lasts about 9 months)
- Full smart home integration requires additional Hub Mini
Overall, I'm really impressed with the Switchbot Lock Pro. It's a convenient upgrade that doesn't compromise on security. The flexibility it offers, especially with the Keypad Touch, is fantastic.
Any questions? Has anyone else tried this lock?

Great review! How loud is the motor when it's locking/unlocking? I'm worried it might wake up my light-sleeping roommate (:

Thanks! The motor is audible, but not too loud. There's a option in the app to turn off the beep sound if that helps. I'd say it's quieter than manually using a key.

Not directly, but if you get the Switchbot Hub Mini, you can integrate it with HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Home

Yes, you can (...anywhere else I'd be a ten)! I've set up fingerprints for myself, my partner, and our kids. The app lets you name each fingerprint too, which is handy.

It was surprisingly quick! Took me about 10 minutes, and most of that was just making sure I had it aligned correctly.
