Going crazy with region-locked content - can a best vpn for ps5 solve my problems?

Tired of seeing other regions get exclusive games and earlier releases while I'm locked out! Constantly seeing international streamers playing content I can't access from my region and it's beyond frustrating.

My situation:

  • Main PSN account has 10+ years of purchases/trophies
  • Want to access Japan/EU/Australia exclusive content
  • Need to get around region pricing (games 40% cheaper in some regions)
  • Already tried changing account country (impossible without new account)

Considering VPN route but worried about account bans or wasting money on solutions that don't work. Anyone successfully accessing other regions' stores? What's your setup? Need real experiences not just theories.

Sony region-locks at account level not just IP address. They literally check payment method country. VPN alone solves nothing

Works perfectly fine! Just need separate PSN account for each region + gift cards in local currency. Been doing this since PS4 era

caution: buddy tried buying from US store with Canadian card through vpn. entire account frozen for "suspicious activity" - took weeks to resolve

Region accounts aren't connected at all. Separate libraries, separate saves, separate everything

don't forget separate UPDATES too... managing 4 different region accounts basically part-time job at this point

Been accessing japanese store with surfshark for months without issues. Their Tokyo servers reliable enough for downloads. Just buy japan psn cards online instead of using credit card

imagine paying subscription fee just to pay for games again in different currency... might as well buy actual plane ticket to japan at that point
