Northrop Grumman, following Lockheed Martin and Blue Origin, has applied to build a lunar module for NASA
Northrop Grumman and Leidos Dynetics will compete for a contract to design and manufacture a lunar landing module to be used in Artemis missions.
Here's What We Know
Last year, Blue Origin and Leidos Dynetics lost to SpaceX and were not awarded the contract to build the landing module. However, Blue Origin filed a new bid the day before with Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Draper, Astrobotic, and Honeybee Robotics. Now Leidos Dynetics along with Northrop Grumman will join in the race for the contract.
