Starlink V2 Mini satellites begin to fall to Earth one month after orbit
At the end of February 2023, SpaceX sent the first batch of its next-generation Starlink V2 Mini satellites into orbit. Some of the spacecraft are already returning to Earth.
Here's What We Know
In March, scientists noticed that the Starlink V2 Mini satellites had begun to descend. Elon Musk said that the spacecraft are stuffed with new technology, so the problems were expected. The head of SpaceX also said that the company will be forced to remove some satellites from orbit.
Three of the Starlink V2Mini sats (30058, 30042, 30051) have resumed orbit raising, while Starliink 30062 reentered at 0850 UTC Apr 3 off the coast of California pic.twitter.com/viv6daE4Gv

At 11:50 a.m. (EET) on April 3, Starlink V2 Mini number 30062 entered Earth's atmosphere above the California coast. It probably burned up completely. It is possible that other satellites from the February constellation will follow in the near future.
