Wargaming, the renowned developer and publisher of online games behind the iconic World of Tanks and World of Warships, has announced its new project at Gamescom 2025: World of Tanks: HEAT.
The celebration of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe in World of Tanks begins with a grand event that will take place from 6 to 13 May. Players will enjoy an exciting new PvE mode, Operation Postman, a historical online broadcast from the Bovington Tank Museum, exclusive Twitch Drops, lucrative discounts, and much more.
Wargaming has unveiled the first season of its original free-to-play hero mech game Steel Hunters, which combines elements of Battle Royale and Extraction shooter. This season marks the debut of a new horned Hunter named Taurus, as well as a fresh set of cosmetic items and significant gameplay improvements developed based on community feedback.

Wargaming has announced the launch of a limited-time Battle Pass that brings together the world of tanks with the underworld of Birmingham. The event will start on 20 March and run until 31 March, allowing players to receive unique rewards and meet Thomas Shelby and his family in-game.
Free-to-play World of Tanks Blitz will receive the Reforged update, which, according to the authors, will be the most significant in the game's history.
On 16 January, World of Tanks will launch a new season - the Battle Pass Special Edition: Rambo, which will run until 30 January.
