Apple agrees to comply with EU antitrust regulator's conditions

Apple has accepted the requirements of the European Union, so now it is obliged to inform users about the existence of streaming services from other companies.

From now on, the company will inform users about alternative music streaming platforms. The announcement was made after Apple was fined €1.8 billion.

However, Apple also said that it intends to charge a commission of 27% on the sale of applications on the developers' website after the user clicks an external link and makes a purchase within seven days.

As a reminder, in March, the European Commission ordered Apple to change the terms of its contracts with streaming platform developers following complaints from companies. For example, Spotify claimed that it was forced to raise prices for users due to pressure from Apple.
