MBDA Deutschland and IAI to launch joint production of Israeli kamikaze drones in Germany
The war in Ukraine has demonstrated the importance of drones. In this regard, Germany has decided to establish the production of kamikaze drones on its territory.

MBDA Deutschland has signed an agreement with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) to launch a joint production of kamikaze drones in Germany. The Israeli company is offering the German firm its entire portfolio of barrage munitions.
Germany will be able to fill the capability gap in the Air Force, Army and Navy with Israeli drones. IAI's arsenal includes the Harpy, Mini Harpy, Harop and Rotem kamikaze drones.
IAI is the first company to create the concept of barrage munitions. Through evolution, kamikaze drones have evolved into unique and accurate weapon systems.
