Russia has increased production of Shahed-136 kamikaze drones and continues to massively attack Ukraine with them.

Here's What We Know

According to Defence Express, in September, Russia fired a record 503 UAVs on the territory of Ukraine. For comparison, before that the record was 413 drones (for May 2023). Despite such a large number of drones, the Ukrainian air defence system was able to destroy 396 targets. That is, the effectiveness of the air defence is 78.7%.

If we talk about the record number of drones per day, it is 44 units (13.09 and 28.09). On these days Ukraine managed to shoot down 73-77% of targets. If the enemy launches less than 20 drones per day, the effectiveness of air defence is almost always 100%.
