Spain's Air Force has ordered a second Crow system for drone suppression at a cost of $1.6 million

Indra has received an order from the Spanish Air Force for the Crow system. It is designed to combat drones.

Two years ago, the Spanish Air Force ordered the first drone suppression system. During this time, its cost has almost doubled. If then the authorities paid $930,000 for Crow, now the system will cost $1.6 million.

It is possible that the increase in cost by $700,000 is due to the additional functions of Crow. However, neither the Spanish company nor the country's air force is in a hurry to disclose the details of the deal.

Crow is capable of combating a variety of drones, ranging from the DJI Phantom 4 to large drones. The system uses artificial intelligence algorithms and can detect UAVs within a radius of several kilometres.

Indra's development has already demonstrated its effectiveness in real-world conditions. It was used to protect Spanish soldiers from aerial threats in Nigeria.
