Ukraine will soon receive a large number of US Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones that can destroy Russian tanks

AeroVironment intends to increase deliveries of Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones to Ukraine. This was announced by Charlie Dean, vice-president of the US company.

Here's What We Know

The Ukrainian Armed Forces use different types of AeroVironment drones. These include the Switchblade barrage munitions. Last year, the US started supplying Switchblade 300 in large quantities. The Switchblade 600 came a little later.

Charlie Dean states that the Switchblade 600 is very important for Ukraine. At the moment, the Defence Forces have received many more Switchblade 300 drones than Switchblade 600. However, this situation will soon change as AeroVironment will ramp up deliveries.

The Switchblade 600 has a launch range of approximately 90 kilometres and can reach speeds of up to 185 km/h during an attack. The anti-tank warhead allows the drone to destroy not only infantry but also enemy armoured vehicles.
