Insider: Samsung will raise prices on the flagship Galaxy S23 line, but not on all models
The closer the official presentation, which will be held on February 1, the more details about the new flagship line of Samsung Galaxy S23. This time, insider @RGcloudS shared information about the prices of smartphones.
Here's What It Costs
Rumors had previously circulated that Samsung might raise the prices of its next S-series flagships. And the insider's data confirms them, but only partially. If his information is to be believed, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus will cost the same as their predecessors:
- Galaxy S23 8/128GB - $799
- Galaxy S23 8/256GB - $849
- Galaxy S23 Plus 8/128GB - $999
- Galaxy S23 Plus 8/256GB - $1049
The Galaxy S23 Ultra, on the other hand, will cost a bit more:
- Galaxy S23 Ultra 8/256 GB - $1249
- Galaxy S23 Ultra 12/512GB - $1349
- Galaxy S23 Ultra 12GB/1TB - $1499
For comparison, the base version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra costs $1199, which means the difference with the Galaxy S23 Ultra is only $50. But there will be an increase in built-in memory, from 128GB to 256GB.
Samsung seems pretty sure buyers are willing to pay more for the S23 Ultra. But that's no surprise, since the Galaxy S22 Ultra is said to account for 45% of total S22 sales and is one of the best premium phones out there.
