Ming-Chi Kuo: Apple is working on a new iPhone SE with a 6.1-inch OLED screen, a branded 5G modem and a design like the iPhone 14
It's been repeatedly reported on the internet that Apple will drop the iPhone SE range, but it looks like that's not the case.
Here's What We Know
According to Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is still planning to release the smartphone, but the company will change plans slightly. For instance, the new product will look similar to the iPhone 14, rather than the older iPhone XR and iPhone 11 as previously stated. The device will feature a 6.1-inch OLED display.

[Update] Apple has restarted the iPhone SE 4 and will adopt an in-house 5G baseband chip. The significant decline in Qualcomm's Apple orders in the foreseeable future is a foregone conclusion. https://t.co/0MeZDFnbzg
Also according to Kuo, the smartphone will be the first to get Apple's proprietary 5G modem. It will only work in sub-6GHz networks. Incidentally, the current version of the iPhone SE also supports 5G, but comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X57 modem.
Unfortunately, there are no other details about the new product. It is also unknown when the smartphone will be unveiled. Most likely, the gadget should not be expected before March 2024.
