20 Bushmaster vehicles, 12 M113 armored personnel carriers and equipment for border guards: what will be included in the new Australian military aid package for Ukraine
Yesterday, July 3, Australia announced a new military assistance package for Ukraine. Its details have now been revealed.
What to expect
The new package will include 20 Bushmaster armored vehicles. In addition, Ukraine will receive 12 M113 armored personnel carriers, military equipment and $6,000,000 in financial aid. This money will be used to purchase equipment for border management, enhance cyber security, and improve border operations in the field. The new package will be totally $68,530,000.
Recall that Australia has previously given us Bushmaster armored vehicles, M113 armored personnel carriers and medical equipment: Australia will transfer a new batch of military aid to Ukraine. We also received medical equipment and 6 howitzers from the Australians M777. In total Australia gave us equipment worth of $267,260,00.
